As January slowly edges to a close the festival/ tour announcements start to make an appearance.....a loud hoorah is heard throughout the live music community! It's been a long old month, now looking toward some rather excellent musical escapades ahead.
One of those announcements is the mighty fine band Those Damn Crows have been announced for Monsterfest up in Inverness for its 2nd outing in Nov & after a blistering set last year "up the mountain " at Steelhouse Festival, the Welsh boys are coming back in July , let's hope it stays dry this year.....please!
If you haven't had chance to catch Those Damn Crows, nows the time , with David Winchurch & Ian 'shiner' Thomas on guitar, Lloyd Wood on bass, Ronnie Huxford on drums & last but no means least vocals from Shane Greenhall, the guys bring a wall of sound, melodic hard rock with a commanding vocal from Shane, check out their debut album Murder and the Motive, with some anthemic tunes such as Blink of an Eye , Roll n Roll ain't Dead, Somebody Some Day & the hard hitting Dont Give A Damn. From the minute these guys step foot on stage you know you are in for a stonking set of in your face rock n roll, they have the crowd eating out of there hands! Just about to head out with Stone Broken, you will not be dissapointed if you can catch them, infact I'm pretty sure you will be going back for more!
The year of the "Crow" is upon us methinks!
